Shooting on film and developing at home, Kellen’s moody portraiture captures small moments of connection with fellow queer and poc subjects. His genderless nude forms exist outside of a recognizable era and draw from myth, vintage print and film.

Inspired by his time living off grid in Big Sur, California, much of Kellen’s analogue work captures the raw angry beauty of untouched nature and its relationship to the body.
